Expense-to-Salary Ratio is an indicator designed to provide customers with visibility on expenses in relation to salary.The expenses include your financial obligations, such as loan payments, credit card payments, and additional telecommunications and utilities bills.
How it is calculated
The Expense-to-Salary ratio is a ratio of direct expenses to last reported salary. The numerator includes the monthly payment for installment loans , 5% of the credit limit for credit cards and non-installment facilities, total monthly amount due for telecommunications services and utility services. The denominator is the last reported salary.
